PL String Inspection
Strings are the backbone of solar modules, and ensuring their quality is paramount. Photoluminescence (PL) inspection for the stringer ensures that only high-quality strings make it into the final assembly.
This cutting-edge technique employs the power of light to uncover imperfections and elevate the quality of photovoltaic strings.
At its core, PL inspection involves illuminating the cells with specific wavelengths of light, stimulating the emission of photons. This emitted light, when carefully analyzed, provides critical information about the string's material integrity and electrical characteristics. ISRA VISION’s PL inspection system LUMI-Q Scan runs laser-free, which reduces safety requirements.
